Lerida Estate finishes the Fireside Festival on a high note

Lerida Estate completed its Fireside festival Dinner Party Food & Wine matching Master Classes sessions on the 30th of August (events ran every weekend through August) with a very successful dessert food & wine matching master class. The visiting chef for the session was Jan Gundlach from flavours/Senso at Fyshwick (http://www.flavours.com.au/), and he was accompanied by Brendan Walsh, an assistant chef at Senso.

There were some truly gorgeous food & wine matches at the session including our new Zensi 2009 Riesling with Strawberry Macaroons, and Ruby Grapfruit Jelly with Mango Mousse, and a superb Chocolate Tart matched with our 2007 Shiraz Viognier. It doesnt get much more decadent than that!
