Experience the beauty of Lake George and get some exercise at the same time. Walk from Lerida Estate, above the vineyard of Lake George Wines, down past the restaurant (formerly Madews, now owned by Lake George Wines) and back to Lerida Estate along the road. The round trip is approximately 1.5 km.

Walkers can do the walk any time during the opening hours of the two wineries. Opening hours are different for the different wineries. Lerida Estate is open 7 days a week from 10 – 5. Opening hours for Lake George Winery are Fri-Sun 11-4

It is essential to wear walking shoes. This can be runners – but the shoes should have good gripping soles because some of the terrain can be a bit steep. If you want to see the great views of Lake George, you need to go up the hill a bit. The walk will be signposted, so just follow the arrows. Also, pick up a map from Lerida which shows you the route to take and gives you some notes on what you will see on the walk.
