Truffle Festival at Café Lerida

For the last couple of years, Lerida Estate has participated in the Capital Country Truffle Festival. What this involves is organising an event or two involving truffles, and featuring truffles on the Cafe Lerida menu during the short truffle season.
 
This year we will have 3 truffle inspired items on the Cafe Lerida menu:
 
Truffle Pasta:
Fresh pasta cooked al dente, drained and then tossed with butter and topped with extra virgin olive oil, fresh truffle and freshly grated parmesan.
 
Creamy Truffled Scrambled Eggs:
Free range eggs infused with truffles, scrambled in butter and topped with freshly grated truffle and chopped chives and served on toasted sourdough bread
 
Truffle Bread:
Fresh sourdough bread from Dobinson's Bakery laced with truffle butter and served hot.
 
We recommend one of our 2008 Lerida Estate Pinot Noir wines with these dishes.
