As Floriade bursts into colour this year, Lerida Estate Winery is bringing the beauty of spring directly to the table with a specially crafted Floriade inspired menu. Designed to capture the vibrancy, freshness, and creativity of the season, this dining experience is a true celebration of nature’s abundance.
A Feast for the Senses
The journey begins with “A First Bloom”, an amuse-bouche of tomato water infused with herb oil and edible flowers, elegantly poured at the table from a miniature watering pot. This playful start sets the tone for an immersive dining experience where food and presentation flourish together.
For entrées, guests can choose from three spring-inspired dishes:
Salt & Pepper Squid (GF) – Lightly crisped squid paired with mesclun greens, smoky pimento, and roast almond sauce.
Crispy Louisiana Chicken (GF) – Bold flavours with Spanish onion, coriander, avocado salsa, and a piquant sauce.
Spring Lamb Salad (GF, vegetarian option available) – Smoky lamb fillet balanced with pear, parmesan, and roasted beetroot.
Full Bloom Mains
The mains showcase seasonal produce and bold flavours, each designed to capture spring’s vitality. Diners can select from:
Fresh Northern Territory Barramundi (GF) – Oven-baked with smoked olive and tomato tapenade, served alongside pan-seared greens and kipfler potatoes.
Sweet Soy & Kaffir Lime Pork Belly (GF) – Slow-braised, glazed with lime and chilli, and served with fragrant rice, saffron, and ginger gels.
Roast Zucchini (Vegan // GF) – A hearty vegan option with oven-roasted vegetables, mushrooms, tomato sauce, and black rice.
A Bed of Blossoms
No spring celebration would be complete without a garden in full bloom. The Chocolate Garden Bed (GF) dessert is as beautiful as it is indulgent, mascarpone with chocolate soil, dried flowers, and berries, served in a rustic earthenware bowl. It’s a sweet homage to the heart of Floriade itself.
