PINOY PIG AND PINOT

Lerida Estate is bringing together two great culinary traditions this winter, pairing slow-roasted Filipino Lechon with cool-climate Pinot Noir for a one-day food and wine experience on Saturday 8 August.

As a part of Canberra WIne Region’s FIRESIDE FESTIVAL, and in collaboration with Canberra's Lechon specialists, Pinoy Flavours, guests will enjoy authentic whole spit-roasted Lechon, prepared over open flame and cooked to perfection using traditional Filipino techniques. The pig will be roasted in the morning and served to visitors alongside generous plate classic Filipino trimmings.

To complement the rich flavours of the Lechon, Lerida Estate will be pouring a selection of current and back-vintage Pinot Noirs by the glass, showcasing the evolution and versatility of one of the region's signature varieties. A limited selection of museum-release wines will also be available to purchase and take home.
