After an incredibly successful 3 months of bringing wine country into the heart of Canberra, Lerida Estate is inviting locals to help farewell its Dairy Road pop-up with one final celebration. A Lazy Sunday, taking place on Sunday 26 July from 12pm–5pm, will close the curtain on Lerida on the Road with an afternoon of great wine, warming food, music and unbeatable wine bargains as part of the Fireside Festival. Lerida on the Road has transformed its Dairy Road space into a genuine urban cellar door, introducing hundreds of Canberrans to cool-climate wines from one of the region's most awarded wineries. The pop-up has become a destination for after-work drinks, weekend tastings and spontaneous bottle purchases. Rather than quietly packing up, the Lerida team has decided to throw one last party. Visitors can expect: Mulled wine to keep the winter chill away Fiery pizza specials from Spitfire Pizza Relaxed Sunday tunes and cosy winter atmosphere Wine specials and clearance discounts of up to 50% off selected bottles while stocks last The event also forms part of the Canberra Region's Fireside Festival, celebrating the pleasures of winter with great wine, warming food and memorable experiences across the region.  

Lerida Estate is bringing together two great culinary traditions this winter, pairing slow-roasted Filipino Lechon with cool-climate Pinot Noir for a one-day food and wine experience on Saturday 8 August. As a part of Canberra WIne Region’s FIRESIDE FESTIVAL, and in collaboration with Canberra's Lechon specialists, Pinoy Flavours, guests will enjoy authentic whole spit-roasted Lechon, prepared over open flame and cooked to perfection using traditional Filipino techniques. The pig will be roasted in the morning and served to visitors alongside generous plate classic Filipino trimmings. To complement the rich flavours of the Lechon, Lerida Estate will be pouring a selection of current and back-vintage Pinot Noirs by the glass, showcasing the evolution and versatility of one of the region's signature varieties. Saturday 1 August | Lerida Estate | Sessions from 12pm Lerida Estate will transform its courtyard into a celebration of regional wine, mead and spirits this winter, bringing together some of the Canberra region's most exciting independent producers for Lerida & Friends, a one-day mini festival on Saturday 1 August. Held as part of the Canberra and Region Fireside Festival, the event will showcase a collection of makers connected to Lerida Estate through years of collaboration, friendship and shared passion for craft beverages. Guests will have the opportunity to taste across a diverse range of wines, meads and spirits while meeting the people behind the labels. Participating producers include Lerida Estate, Intrepidus, Sholto, Pequod, S. C. Fox, Stone Dog Meadery, Kartera, Vineyard 1207 and Dawning Day.. For just $15, visitors can enjoy tastings from all participating makers, explore museum and limited-release wines and settle in with a glass of their favourite discovery while enjoying snacks and the relaxed winter atmosphere of the estate. Look for the pizza pop up out front! We’re bringing the cellar door to Canberra! This May, Lerida on the (Dairy) Road lands at Dairy Road in Fyshwick — a four-week pop-up pouring our full range right in the middle of one of the city’s most interesting and growing precincts. From May 7–31, Thursday to Sunday, we’ll be operating as a cellar door, wine bar and bottleshop — no highway required. What’s on offer: 30-minute guided tastings (12pm–7:30pm) A hand-selected journey through Estate, Cullerin and single vineyard wines Wine by the glass for lunch or into the evening Take-home bottles for later (or sooner) Corporate tastings + small events And because wine deserves good company… We’re teaming up with Spitfire Big Slice Pizza, serving up proper New York-style slices just outside the cellar door. EXCLUSIVE STOMP FESTIVAL EVENT  Riesling + German food = A good time.  We’re going full Euro for Stomp Festival this year — and you’re invited. Riesling Vertical & a Plate of GermanySaturday 18 April | 2–5pm | $35pp A vertical tasting through our Rieslings from 2021 to now, plus a little wildcard we’re very excited about: Federweisser. It’s semi-fermented Riesling — slightly fizzy, a little sweet, a bit cloudy, and very easy to drink. Traditionally poured during harvest in Germany… now pouring at Lerida. It’ll be part of the tasting and also available by the glass if you want to keep the good times rolling. To match? A proper German plate: Sausage Sauerkraut Potato salad Pretzel Das ist sehr gut. Designed to capture the vibrancy, freshness, and creativity of the season, this dining experience is a true celebration of nature’s abundance.  A Feast for the Senses The journey begins with “A First Bloom”, an amuse-bouche of tomato water infused with herb oil and edible flowers, elegantly poured at the table from a miniature watering pot. This playful start sets the tone for an immersive dining experience where food and presentation flourish together. For entrées, guests can choose from three spring-inspired dishes: Salt & Pepper Squid (GF) – Lightly crisped squid paired with mesclun greens, smoky pimento, and roast almond sauce. Crispy Louisiana Chicken (GF) – Bold flavours with Spanish onion, coriander, avocado salsa, and a piquant sauce.
